Hisarönü Gulf, also known as the Gulf of Hisarönü or Hisarönü Körfezi in Turkish, is another beautiful coastal area located in southwestern Turkey. It is situated between the Datça Peninsula and the Bodrum Peninsula, making it a relatively unspoiled and tranquil part of the Turkish coastline.
It is a small cove half a mile west of Ince Cape lighthouse. It can also be called the centre of the open sea.
Kargi Bay Kargi bay is 1.5 miles south of Datca and 2.6 miles north of Ince Cape. It is a very large bay with a wide mouth. There is an azmak in the bay. The
Dirsekbuku, the last sheltered bay to the south-west of Hisarönü Bay. It is just south of Agil Burnu and continues in the shape of a boot with the indentation facing west.
Kurucabuk Aktur is an oxygen-rich corner of paradise where the pine forest meets the sea. Winning the title of Turkey’s most beautiful bay in recent years shows that this tourist spot can compete on the world stage.
The road connecting Hayitbuku and Ovabuku is about 1 km long. Another road is the one that leads to Mesudiye, which is a little bit before the plain on the Knidos road, where the view of Mesudiye can also be seen.
Palamutbuku is a district 30 kilometres from the centre of Datca, which is connected to Muğla. It refers to a small cove where blue and green meet on the Mediterranean side of the Datca peninsula.
Orhaniye Bay, with its sand, island, high mountains, forests and green areas, is a bay where you can live without going anywhere.
Selimiye has become one of the most popular places around Marmaris in recent years. It is a beautiful fishing village and despite the big tourist groups and crowds in the summer, Selimiye still preserves its natural beauty.
Bencik Bay is located within the boundaries of Hisarönü at the thinnest point of the Datça Peninsula, separating Marmaris from Datça.
